Infrastructure

Roads

• There will be some 52 km of roads in Flamingo Lakes Resort. All roads have been designed with appropriate roundabouts, stop signs, speed bumps and road markings. Every road has been named; sidewalks have been incorporated as well as the Pluvial drainage system designed to handle excess water.

Refuse

• The resort will have its own garbage collection service. It will deposit the rubbish in its own tip located well away from the site deep in the countryside.

Electricity

• Calculations have been carried out to establish our maximum demand levels and contracts have been agreed with the electrical authorities to provide us with a mixture of high, medium and low-tension supply that will more than meet our demand.

Water

• The site sits on one of the largest underground reservoirs in the world. We are 12 meters above trillions of gallons of water thereby providing abundant supplies at all times. There will be a modern, state of the art purification system on site and the water will be fully potable and safe for consumption.

Sewarage

• The site will have its own sewage plants. Five in total all located well away from any housing.

Cellular Phones

• There will be a cellular phone tower to ensure that all Flamingo Lakes residents and guests have full reception everywhere throughout the Flamingo Lakes community.
